The
Bell
Alarm
with
Lockout
prevents
reclosing
of
the
breaker
after
a
trip
until
the
reset
button
on
the
front
of
the
module
is
pressed
.
This
trip
can
be
caused
by
an
overcurrent
condition
detected
by
the
Trip
Unit
or
can
be
generated
by
the
Shunt
Trip
or
Undervoltage
Release
,
if
installed
and
if
the
appro
-
priate
switches
have
been
set
on
the
back
of
the
Trip
Unit
.

In
addition
,
the
Bell
Alarm
with
Lockout
provides
normally
open
(
NO
)
and
normally
closed
(
NC
)
alarm
outputs
available
at

breaker

as
illustrated
in
Figure
11
.
These
outputs
are
returned
to
their
normal
state
when
the
Bell
Alarm
with
Lockout
reset
button
is
firmly
pressed
.
