PLUMBING REQUIREMENTS
WATER PRESSURE- Must be 10 psi minimum to
120 psi maximum.
WATER TEMPERATURE - Household water heater
should be set to deliver water at 120° to 150°F
(50° to 66°C) TO THE WASHER.
SHUTOFF VALVES - Both hot and cold shutoff
valves (faucets) should be supplied.
DRAIN - Water mag be drained into standpipe
or set tub. Discharge height MUST NOT BE LESS
THAN 30 INCHES and no more than 8 feet above
the base of the washer. Standpipe must be 1V2
inches minimum inside diameter and must be
open to atmosphere.

thisappliance.Do not,under ang circumstances,
cut or remove the thirdgrounding prong from the
power cord.Follownationalelectricalcodes and
ordinances.Thisappliancemust be suppliedwith
the voltageand frequencgindicatedon the rating
plate (located on the rear cover of the backsplash),
and connected to an individual, properlg grounded
branch circuit, protected bg a 15- or 20-amp circuit
breaker or time-delog fuse. If the electric supplg
provided does not meet the above requirements,
call a licensed electrician.
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be grounded. In the event of
malfunction or breakdown, grounding will reduce
the risk of electric shock bg providing a path of
least resistance for electric current. This appliance
is equipped with a cord having an equipment-
grounding conductor and a grounding plug.
The plug must be plugged into an appropriate
outlet that is properlg installed and grounded in
accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
-& WARNING -Improper connection
of the equipment-grounding conductor can result
in a risk of electric shock. Check with o qualified
electrician or serviceman if you are in doubt as to
whether the appliance is properlg grounded. Do not
modifg the plug provided with the appliance-if it
will not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed
by a qualified electrician.
