Why won't my GE Ranges surface units maintain a rolling boil?
    • D
      Daniel BaxterSep 1, 2025
If the surface units on your GE Ranges do not maintain a rolling boil or cooking is not fast enough, it could be due to using improper cookware. Use flat pans which match the diameter of the surface unit selected. In some areas, low power voltage may be the cause. Cover the pan with a lid until the desired heat is obtained.

Why does my GE RBS330 oven door glass look tinted?
    • L
      Lisa AshleySep 13, 2025
No. The inner oven glass of your GE Ranges is coated with a heat barrier to reflect the heat back into the oven to prevent heat loss and keep the outer door cool while baking. This is normal. Under certain light or angles you may see this tint or rainbow color.

    • R
      rmurphySep 10, 2025
For GE Ranges, scratches on the cooktop glass are typically not removable, and are caused by incorrect cleaning methods, cookware with rough bottoms, or coarse particles between the cookware and the surface. To avoid scratches, use recommended cleaning procedures and ensure cookware bottoms are clean and smooth. Tiny scratches will become less visible over time with cleaning.
