Motor Pulley Removal
1.  With the belt removed from the pulley, loosen 
WKHORFNQXW¿UVWWKHQWKHPPEROWVHFXULQJ
the pulley to the shaft of the motor.  
NOTE: This bolt also has a nut that is used as a lock 
QXW,IWKHEROWZLOOQRWWXUQORRVHQHGWKHQXW¿UVW
 
Motor Pulley Reinstallation 
1.  Slide the pulley over the motor shaft and tighten 
EROW¿UVW7KHQWLJKWHQWKHORFNQXW%HVXUHWR
DOLJQWKHEROWZLWKWKHÀDWVLGHRIWKHVKDIW
Drive Motor and Belt
The motor turns the Pulsator or the basket with 
the Pulsator depending if the cycle is in spin or 
agitate mode. Its power is supplied from the control 
board, goes to the start capacitor then to the 
motor. This turns the belt attached to the motor and 
transmission pulleys. 
Drive Motor Removal
1.  Remove the belt protector. 
2.  Loosen the two 13 mm bolts that attach the 
motor to the platform, and then slide the motor 
toward the shaft assembly.
3.  5RWDWHWKHEHOWRȺWKHPRWRUDQGVKDIWDVVHPEO\
pulley.
4.  Remove the two 13 mm bolts from the motor.
5.  Disconnect the harness plug connector from the 
motor.
Belt Adjustment After Reinstalled
Loosen the two motor mounting bolts. Push the 
motor away from the shaft assembly (arrow 1). 
Adjust as shown below. (arrow 2). Then tighten the  
motor bolts.
