The use of damaged electrofusion tools can lead to serious
injuries or death as a result of an electric shock.

Only use the electrofusion tool if it is in perfect working order.
•
Check the electrofusion tool for damage before each use.
•
Provide mains fuse protection using a residual-current device.
Country-specific regulations must be observed in this respect.

Do not weld wet or water-filled pipes.
•
Do not immerse the electrofusion tool in water or other liquids.
Dirty machines can be cleaned using a damp cloth.
•
Protect the electrofusion tool against moisture.
•
Only connect the connecting cable for electrofusion coupling to
the electrofusion coupling or electrofusion tape once clean and
dry Geberit PE or Geberit Silent‑db20 pipes or fittings have been
inserted.
