In case of spill, brine is not irritating, nor toxic and nor harmful, does not produce noxious fumes. It is
however recommended to avoid contact with eyes.
Never disassemble the components of the valve.
Check that during installation pipes are without any working shavings or any other foreign bodies.
Provide a power supply plug 230 Volt +/– 10% - 50/60 Hz.
For a proper working of the softener, do not make any extension on the power supply cable.
After installation, make sure that the unit does not stand on the power supply cable.
Place the vessel and the salt tank close to each other, on a flat and solid surface, in a dry room
protected from frost and hygienically suitable, away from sunrays and atmospheric agents, by taking
care of leaving free rooms for maintenance.
Connect the brine suction hose between the tank and the head (in the monobloc model it is connected
already).
Install a filter (6) between the by-pass for the cutting out of the system and the water supply entry of
the softener.
For in-out connections of the softener to the system use flexible hoses or vibration-damping joints.
Connect the drain hose of the valve and the overflow hose of the
salt tank to the drain with two separate hoses.
IMPORTANT: The drain must be free (at atmospheric pressure)
and not sealed.
Provide a siphon drain pipe with enough draining capacity (Ø 25
mm for models up to Decalux 25).
The drain must be lower than the “overflow” level of the tank.
