ization.
Parameter "CtrlFn" is set to

Parameter "CtrlFn" is set for
a fixed control function. This
set control function is not in
accordance with the control
function determined during
initialization.
The pneumatic connections for
"CLOSED" and "OPEN" on the
valve have been switched or the
parameter "PotDir" is set on
"fall".

Error
An incorrect control func-
tion was recognised dur-
ing automatic initializa-
tion.
Parameter "CtrlFn" is set for
a fixed control function. This
set control function is not in
accordance with the control
function determined during
initialization.
The wrong control function is set
in the "CtrlFn" parameter. If the
parameter is set to AUTO, the
product determines the corres-
ponding control function and
stores it (not for control function

initialization or set the "CtrlFn"
parameter to "DNO").

ror
Error
During automatic initializ-
ation of the valve a pneu-
matic error was detected
- Control air failed
- The minimum stroke was
undershot
- End positions cannot be
reached
- Leakage in the system
Check the stroke of the pneu-
matic system. Check leakage
and end positions. Observe the
min. control pressure of the
valve.
023 Leakage
Error
During automatic initializ-
ation of the valve leakage
was detected.
The positioner is in initializa-
tion mode.
Check the pneumatic system for
leakage and carry out initializa-
tion again
030 Air missing
Warning
A failure of the com-
pressed air was dis-
covered.
The product tries to change
the valve position, but it
changes in the wrong direc-
tion.
Please note: Dependent on
the positioner’s set value re-
action time, the error may be
acknowledged in the mean-
time. It then recurs.

Error
A cable break, short-cir-
cuit or exceeded range in
the travel sensor connec-
tion or in the travel
sensor was detected.

200 EEPROM error
Error
An error has occurred
with the external EEP-
ROM.
This error is generated if the
calibration data from the IO
card EEPROM could not be
read.
The error is only displayed for 1
minute when the controller is
switched on and then disappears
automatically. The automatic
control system still operates cor-
rectly, but the controller must be
sent to GEMÜ for examination.
