Mounting of proximity switch
Proximity switches are set when the valve is
completely assembled (with valve body).
Setting the proximity switch for the
OPEN position:
G Remove upper screw 4 (see delivery
condition on page 21) from bonnet.
G Move the bonnet to the open position.
G At least 2/3 of the damping cam 3 must
be visible.
Otherwise please proceed as follows:
• Remove threaded plug 1.
• Loosen grub screw 2 by 1-1.5 turns.
Do not unscrew grub screw 2 more than
that to prevent it from falling inside the
valve.
• Correct the position of the damping
cam 3.
• Secure the position of damping cam 3
by fixing it with grub screw 2.
• Screw in threaded plug 1.
G Screw in proximity switch 6 until it
touches damping cam 3.
G Turn back proximity switch 6 by 1/2 to 3/4
turns.
G Secure this position by fixing it with nut X.
Setting the proximity switch for the
CLOSED position:
G Remove lower screw 5 (see delivery
condition on previous page) from bonnet.
G Move the bonnet to the closed position.
G At least 2/3 of the damping cam 3 must
be visible.
Otherwise please proceed as follows:
• Remove threaded plug 1.
• Loosen grub screw 2 by 1-1.5 turns.
Do not unscrew grub screw 2 more than
that to prevent it from falling inside the
valve.
• Correct the position of the damping
cam 3.
• Secure the position of damping cam 3
by fixing it with grub screw 2.
• Screw in threaded plug 1.
G Screw in proximity switch 7 until it
touches damping cam 3.
G Turn back proximity switch 7 by 1/2 to 3/4
turns.
G Secure this position by fixing it with nut Y.
