Load All
The Load All operation allows you to load a previously memorized “GK350.MEM”
file into the GK350 memory. The incoming “GK350.MEM” file will completely rewrite
the instrument’s memory.
Procedure
1. Insert the disk containing a GK350 Memory file into the drive and press the [F.
DISK] button.
The display shows the “WAIT” message for a short period, then the LOAD ALL
message appears.
If you press [F.DISK] during the WAIT period, you will escape Disk mode.
The appearance of the Load All display is confirmation that the disk contains a
GK350 Memory file (the file name “GK350.MEM” is not shown in the display).
If the Disk does not contain a “GK350.MEM” file, the Save All page is shown
instead.
2. Press the [YES/+] button to load the GK350 user-programmed data to the in-
strument’s memory.
If you don’t press the [YES/+] button within 10 seconds, or if you press the [NO/
] button, you escape Disk mode and the display returns to the Normal situation.
While the data is being loaded, the display shows the “WAIT” message. When
the messge disappears, you know that the data has been loaded and the display
returns to the Normal situation.
Playing Midi Files directly from disk
The Direct from disk function allows you to play back standard Midi files directly from
disk without loading any data to memory. This useful feature also allows you to play
along with the playback by means of the “Melody Off” function, which cancels the
melody line and assigns the solo “Melody” sound to the keyboard.
Procedure
1. Have a Midi File data disk ready and insert it into the drive.
You can find Midi File data disks in many outlets (music shops, newsagents,
etc.).
2. Press the [F. DISK] button and shortly after the “WAIT” message, the name of
the first MIDI file available on disk is shown.
The display shows the first 6 letters of the MIDI File name.
3. With the [YES/+] and [NO/–] buttons, you can scroll all the Midi Files present on
disk.
4. Once selected, press the [START/STOP] button to start the playback.
When the end of the MIDI File is reached, playback stops.
You can stop the playback any time by pressing the [START/STOP] button.
Note: If there are not Midi Files contained in the disk,
the “NOMID” message will appear for a short period
before the Load All display.
