1. From any operator or maintenance screen, press and hold the Auto/Manual Mode ( ) button for five seconds,
or until Auto mode is displayed at the top of the screen.
Note: If any of the scheduled time slots are currently active, the controller will begin the starting sequence and start
the unit, provided there are no shutdown conditions present.
SHUTTING DOWN THE UNIT
Prior to shutting down the unit, check with personnel using power supplied by the generator and let them know that
the power is going to be turned off. Verify the power shut down will not create any hazards by accidentally turning
off equipment that needs to be kept on (pumps, compressors, lights, etc.).
1. Remove all loads from the generator by opening all circuit breakers (turn OFF (O)).
2. Let the engine run for approximately five minutes to allow it to cool down.
3. Press the red Engine Stop/Reset (O) button on the controller. This will result in the generator going into the
shutdown cycle and starting a 15 second shutdown timer called stopping. If the unit does not shut down
within 15 seconds, a stop fail alarm will be displayed on the LCD window.
