Function Description
The watch integrates several key functions:
- Time Mode: Displays time in two configurable time zones (T1 and T2), along with date, and allows setting of time, date, and units for altimeter, barometer, and temperature. It supports 12-hour and 24-hour formats.
- Compass Mode: Provides needle direction, cardinal direction, and azimuth (in degrees), including declination correction for geographical and magnetic north.
- Barometer Mode: Measures atmospheric pressure and displays it in mbar or inHg. It also offers a history/graph of pressures over the last 24 hours and provides weather forecasts based on barometric trends.
- Altimeter Mode: Measures and displays instantaneous altitude in meters or feet, along with ascending/descending speed. It can record altitude data over time and allows users to set an altitude alarm.
- Stopwatch Mode: A stopwatch function capable of storing up to 50 split times, accurate to 1/100 second for up to 1 hour, and to 1 second for up to 24 hours.
- Saved Data Mode: Allows users to view recorded data from Altimeter Mode, including positive (ASC) and negative (DSC) totals, average ascending and descending speeds (AVG.RATE), maximum (MAX) and minimum (MIN) altitude, and recording time (TOTAL). Up to 10 recordings can be saved.
- Alarm/Sound Mode: Features two daily alarms (AL1 and AL2) and allows for activation/deactivation of touch sounds.

Usage Features
- Intuitive Navigation: The watch uses buttons A, B, C, and D for navigation and settings adjustments.
- Pressing and holding D accesses the settings menu.
- Pressing C once accesses various modes.
- Pressing C once also activates the backlight.
- Time Zone Management: Users can set and switch between two time zones (T1 and T2).
- Compass Calibration: The compass requires calibration by entering a declination value while pointing towards a known cardinal direction. Declination values for major cities are provided in the manual.
- Barometer/Altimeter Calibration: Due to shared sensors, the barometer and altimeter need to be calibrated. This involves setting current weather conditions and sea level pressure for the barometer, and local altitude for the altimeter. The watch can store three pre-programmable local altitudes (LOCAL 1, 2, and 3) for quick reference.
- Weather Forecast: Icons indicate local weather trends for the next few hours, based on barometric measurements.
- Activity Tracking (Altimeter Mode): Users can start and stop an activity to record altitude data, including instantaneous speed, positive/negative totals, and instantaneous altitude.
- Stopwatch Split Times: The stopwatch can store up to 50 split times, with the display pausing for 6 seconds to allow reading.
- Data Recall: Saved data from altimeter mode can be reviewed, and individual or all recordings can be deleted.
- Altitude Alarm: A maximum altitude can be set, triggering an alarm if exceeded.
- Temperature Measurement: For accurate external temperature readings, the watch should be placed on a room-temperature surface for 10 minutes, as body temperature can affect readings.
- Display Contrast: The contrast of the display can be adjusted.
Maintenance Features
- Battery Replacement: While the battery (CR2032 3V) is user-accessible, it is strongly recommended to have it replaced by a professional at the store where the product was purchased. This ensures the seal remains intact, maintaining the watch's watertightness and preserving the warranty.
- Recycling: The product and its batteries must be recycled at a designated collection point at the end of their life cycle.
- Warranty: OXYLANE provides a two-year warranty against defects in materials or manufacture from the date of purchase, provided the invoice is kept as proof. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, improper maintenance, commercial use, unauthorized repairs, or visible signs of impact (e.g., cracked screens). Batteries are also not covered under warranty.
Precautions for Use
The manual includes various pictograms indicating precautions, such as avoiding extreme temperatures (0°C/32°F to 50°C/122°F), avoiding strong impacts, and not submerging the watch beyond its specified water resistance. It also advises against changing the battery yourself to avoid damaging the seal and voiding the warranty. For critical outdoor activities, users are warned that weather forecasts are approximations and should be verified with local weather stations, as conditions can change rapidly and pose life-threatening risks. The barometer's weather forecasts are only reliable if it has been working properly for at least 12 hours.
