Installation Instructions
WARNING!
• DO NOT install this product in a room smaller than 13m

• DO NOT install this product in a place where inammable gas may leak.
• Excessive Weight Hazard: It is recommended to have 2 or more persons to move and install this
product. Failure to do so can result in back or other injury.
• During handling and transportation, always hold the product by the handle, and maintain the unit
in its upright position at all times.
• DO NOT move the product by gripping its louvre.
• Before moving or transporting this product, drain off the water in the unit completely to prevent
water leakage wetting the oor or carpet
Before Installation
1. This product must be placed on a rm foundation to minimize noise and vibration. For safe and
secure positioning, place this product on a smooth and level oor strong enough to support this
product.
2. This product has casters to aid moving it around, but it must only be rolled on smooth at
surfaces. Use caution when rolling on carpeted surfaces and hardwood oors. DO NOT roll this
product over objects.
3. This product must be placed within reach of a properly rated grounded socket.
WARNING!
Electric Shock Hazard: This product must be plugged into a grounded 3-pin outlet; DO NOT pull on the
cord to unplug the plug; DO NOT use an adaptor; DO NOT use with extension cord; failure to comply can
result in death, re or electric shock.
4. DO NOT place any objects around this product’s air inlets and air outlets. DO NOT place this
product near walls, curtains or other objects that may block the air outlets; keep air inlets and
outlets clear of obstacles at all times. It is recommended to leave at least 50cm empty space on
all sides of this product to ensure adequate ventilation.
5. The exhaust hose can be extended, but it is optimized when the hose is at its shortest necessary
length. Also make sure the hose does not have any sharp bends or sags.
6. The window adaptor kit is designed to t most standard vertical and horizontal sliding window
applications. However, it may be necessary to modify some aspects of the installation procedures
for certain types of windows.
7. If this product has been tipped more than 45° during transportation, let this product stand
upright at least 24 hours before turning it on.
8. DO NOT install this product where it could be subject to:
• Heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other products that produce heat
• Direct sunlight
• Mechanical vibration or shock
• Excessive dust
• Lack of ventilation, such as cabinet or bookcase
• Uneven surface
