ALARMS:
The following is a chart describing the possible alarms of the GPM-2 module:
NUMBER SYMBOL DESCRIPTION IDENTIFICATION
1
Unit startup failure.
If the light is flashing, an audible signal
will be given and generator is shut down.
Alternator failure.
If light is continuous, indicates low
frequency. If it runs below nominal level
for over 30 seconds, unit is shut down
.

Contact.
If light is continuous and the engine
is stopped, indicates “contact”
(not an alarm)
.
Battery charge alternator
failure.
If light is flashing, indicates failure
and the control module issues unit
stop command
.

Contact.
If light is continuous and the engine
is stopped, indicates “contact”
(not an alarm).
Low oil pressure.
If light is flashing, indicates failure
and the control module issues unit
stop command.

Low level.
I
f light is continuous, indicates low
coolant level and module issues unit
stop command.
High coolant temperature.
If light is flashing, indicates high
coolant temperature and the control
module issues unit stop command.

Overload.
Light will flash and indicate that the
protection switch is open; module
issues unit stop command.

Low fuel level
.
If light is flashing, indicates WARNING.
If light is flashing, module issues
unit stop command.

Emergency stop.
If light is continuous, module issues
unit stop command, indicating
an emergency stop
(emergency button activated)
.
Overspeed.
If the light is flashing, module issues
unit stop command, indicating
engine high speed
.

Programmable alarm.
If the light is continuous, indicates
WARNING
.
If light is flashing, module issues
unit stop command
.
Note: If at any point 3 or more LED indicators turn on, it could indicate low battery level.
