A. Dual Display Congurations:
This motherboard provides three ports for video output: DVI-D, HDMI and D-Sub. The table below shows
thesupporteddualdisplaycongurations.
B. Playback of HD DVD and Blu-ray Discs:
In order to get better playback quality, when playing the HD DVD or Blu-ray discs, refer to the recom-
mended system requirements (or better) below.
Memory: Two 1 GB DDR3 1066 memory modules
BIOS Setup: At least 256 MB of UMA Frame Buffer Size (refer to Chapter 2, "BIOS Setup," "Advanced
BIOS Features," for more information)
Playback software: CyberLink PowerDVD 8.0 or later (Note: Please ensure Hardware Acceleration is
enabled.)
HDCP compliant monitor(s)
C. Conguring Screen Resolution
After installing the chipset driver, if your desktop screen is wider than your monitor, refer to the follow-
ing to set the screen resolution.
Step 1:
Right-click on your desktop and select Catalyst Control Center. On the top right corner of the Cata-
lyst Control Center UI, select Preferences and select Advanced View.
Step 2:
Go to My Digital Flat-Panels>HDTV Support (Digital
Flat-Panel). At the bottom of the screen, select the
resolution that is most closest to your screen resolu-
tion from the resolution selection list and click Add.
Step 3:
When a screen similar to that on the left appears,
make sure Maintain aspect ratio is selected. Then
use the arrows to adjust the custom screen resolution
tillittsyourmonitor.Finally,clickAccept.
