LIQUID WHICH COULD DAMAGE THE PROTECTION PAINT OF THE CHROME-
PLATING.
DIFFICULTY STARTING UP
Empty tank. Obstructed or dirty
filters, jets or fuel bodies.
Filling.
Dismantle and wash with petrol
Dry with pressured air
IGNITION FAULTS
The spark plug do not release
sparks. Have H.V. checked by
specialised technician.
Check the electrodes, adjustment
at 0,5 - 0,6 mm. Clean the
electrodes with pure petrol and a
metallic brush. Check if there is any
fracture or crack in the isolating
spark plug and replace if
necessary. If the spark plug is in
good condition, take your vehicle to
an Authorised Piaggio-Gilera
Service Centre.
Flooded engine Accelerate and try to start, even
pushing, make the engine work at
idle and eliminate excessive fuel,
clean the spark plug or replace it.
Check the sealing of the flotation
gear valve pin.
