The Glacier Bay Vazon Touchless Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet is a modern and convenient fixture designed to enhance the functionality and aesthetic of your kitchen. This faucet offers both traditional manual operation and innovative touchless activation, providing flexibility and hygiene in daily use.

Function Description:

The primary function of this device is to deliver hot and cold water for kitchen tasks. It features a single handle for manual control of water temperature and flow, as well as a touchless sensor for hands-free operation. The pull-down sprayer offers versatility for various cleaning and rinsing needs, allowing users to easily direct water flow. The touchless feature is particularly useful for maintaining hygiene, as it minimizes contact with the faucet, reducing the spread of germs. The faucet can be installed with or without a deck plate, accommodating different sink configurations.

Power Source Options:
- Battery-powered: Requires four "AA" batteries (included in the battery pack). The sensor flashes 10 times continuously and slowly when batteries are low, indicating a need for replacement.
- AC Adapter (not included): An optional AC adapter can be purchased separately for continuous power without relying on batteries.
Sensor Activation Range: The touchless sensor activates when a hand is waved within 2-3/8 inches (approximately 6 cm) of the sensor.
Automatic Shut-off: As a water-saving feature, the water will automatically turn off after 3 minutes of continuous flow during sensor operation.
Installation Type: Can be installed with or without a deck plate.
Mounting System: Features a FastMount™ system (B) for secure installation from underneath the sink.
Hose Connection: Utilizes quick connectors with color-coded tags (yellow and green) for easy and secure attachment to the control box.
Drill Bit Diameter for Battery Pack Installation: 6mm (15/64 in.) for mounting the battery pack to the wall.

Usage Features:

Touchless Operation: Wave your hand in front of the sensor to turn the water on or off. This feature is active only when the handle is in the ON position.
Manual Operation: The single handle allows for precise control over water temperature (mixing hot and cold water) and flow. Moving the handle away from the faucet to the full on position enables water flow, and moving it towards you or away from you adjusts the temperature.
Pull-Down Sprayer: The integrated sprayer head can be pulled down for extended reach and flexibility, making it ideal for rinsing dishes, cleaning the sink, and filling pots.
Quick Connect Assembly: Simplifies the connection of hoses, ensuring a secure and leak-free setup.
Optional Sensor Bypass: If desired, the faucet can be used without the sensor feature or without power by directly connecting the quick connector to the receiving block, allowing for handle-only operation.
Water Temperature Adjustment: The handle allows users to switch the water flow pattern from cold to hot water.
Easy Battery Replacement: The battery pack is designed for straightforward battery installation and replacement.
Visual and Auditory Feedback: After installing the battery pack or AC adapter, the sensor light will flash, and the control box will make a "click" sound when a hand is moved in the sensor area, confirming proper connection.

Maintenance Features:

Cleaning: The faucet should be cleaned with a damp cloth and dried with a towel.
Avoid Harsh Cleaners: Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the faucet's finish and void the warranty.
Troubleshooting Guide: The manual provides solutions for common issues such as water not shutting off, continuously flashing sensor light, sensor not activating water flow, and low water flow.
Cartridge Replacement: If water does not shut off when the handle is in the OFF position, it indicates a damaged cartridge, which can be replaced.
Sensor and Control Box Diagnostics: Issues with the sensor or water flow can be diagnosed by checking connections, cleaning the washer in the control box, or cleaning the screen filter in the spray head. If the control box is damaged, a replacement can be requested from customer service.
Part Availability: Replacement cartridges, aerators, and drain assemblies can be purchased at The Home Depot stores or online.
Warranty: The faucet comes with a limited lifetime warranty for defects in materials or workmanship, with the sensor mechanism covered by a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase is required for warranty claims.
