This manual seeks to explain the installation of Cable Operating Mechanism (COM) using Flange Handle.
Flange Handle Assemblies, cable operating mechanisms, and cables are all required to be assembed together to operate an MCCB GCB100.
1. Verify quantity and condition of the parts in the drawings below before installing.
DANGER
HAZARD OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, EXPLOSION OR ARC FLASH
1) Apply appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe electrical work practices. See NFPA 70E.
2) This equipment must be installed and serviced only by qualified electrical personnel.
3) Turn off all power supplying this equipment before working on or inside equipment.
4) Always use a properly voltage sensing device to confirm power is off.
5) Replace all devices, doors and covers before turning on power to this equipment.
Failure to follow these instructions will result in death or serious injury.

Coupling Plate Flange Assembly and Cable Cylinder

Connecting Drive Shaft and Plate Lever

Connect the drive shaft and place the plate lever to the plate base with cable holder.

Connecting Plate Flange Assembly to Enclosure

Attach Plate Flange Assembly and Handle to the enclosure, ensuring proper alignment and tightening.

Installing Door Lock Component

Place the door lock component into the release lever slot and secure with an M6x10 screw.

Connecting MCCB and COM

Connecting COM and Flange Handle Assembly to Cable

Connect cable cylinder to COM with M12 NUT, attach M5 screw, and adjust handle for proper contact.

Post-Trip Verification and Door Operation

Verifying Reset Status and Using Release Lever

Confirm MCCB reset status and use the release lever to unblock locking for door operation.

Connecting Enclosure Door and Lock Hook

Attach Plate Hook Lock loosely, push handle to OFF, close door, and adjust locking status.
