Getting Started
Initial Inspection
Upon receipt, inspect the components of the GlideScope video
laryngoscope system for any obvious physical damage that may
have occurred during shipment. Verathon Medical recommends
that the inspection be performed by a biomedical engineer or
other qualified professional who is familiar with electronic
medical devices.
The components you receive will vary depending on which
configuration was ordered (see Figure 3-5). To verify that you
have received the appropriate components, refer to the packing
list included with your system.
If any of the components are missing or damaged, notify the
