When trying to exit the vehicle the straps do not release.
Ensure that the switch for the electric reels is on and the red LED lights
up. Further check that the straps are not twisted at all and there is no
dirt in the housings for the electric reels, occasional vacuuming can help
ensure this does not happen. Additionally, ensure the wheelchair is
pushed forwards slightly first (e.g. 2-3”, 5-7cm) to release the reels
before attempting to exit the vehicle.
When I press IN on the winch remote control the winch comes out,
and vice/versa.
This can sometimes happen when the OUT button is pressed for too
long, and the winch starts winding in again. If this happens press the IN
button until the winch line is fully extended, then press IN once more,
ensuring tension is kept on the line, which will correct the problem.
The straps appear to be jammed on the electric reels and will not
extend or fully retract
The reel webbing needs to be snug on the reels. To reset fully extend
the straps, ensure they are clean and not twisted. Gently allow the reels
to rewind. Simply letting the webs go and allowing them to rewind very
quickly causes them damage.
