SECURING THE WHEELCHAIR | CITROEN BERLINGO BLAZE
1. Position the wheelchair at the foot of the ramp and
apply the brakes.
2. Switch on the electric reels by pressing the button
in the boot. The red light will illuminate. (Fig 1.)
3. Extend front straps and connect to wheelchair
taking care to avoid contact with wheelchair users
feet. (See Fig 2. & Fig 3, 4, 5 overleaf)
4. Switch off electric reels to prevent the wheelchair
rolling backwards.
5. Release the brakes on the wheelchair and push it
up the ramp into the desired position. (If using a
winch, see page 11.) Then move the wheelchair
forwards and backwards slightly to ensure the
electric reels are tight.
6. Connect and adjust the rear wheelchair restraints.
