1. Extend, adjust and secure the wheelchair occupants

belt taking care that the shoulder belt ﬁts correctly

over the shoulder.

2. Ensure the lap belt is positioned across the pelvis

and not over the wheelchair frame.

3. Adjust the top buckle to ensure the shoulder belt

does not cut across the users neck.
