Power Take-Off (PTO) (If Equipped)
Before using a PTO, refer to the manufacturer’s or
installer’s instructions.
To engage a PTO while in preset mode:
1. Make sure the vehicle is stopped.
2. Shift the transmission into NEUTRAL (N) or
PARK (P), if equipped.
3. The PTO Enable and cruise control (if equipped)
switch must be in ON prior to enabling the
PTO operation.
Three rpm settings are controlled by the
turn signal/multifunctional lever.
A. OFF/ON: The ON position has a base engine idle
of 1,200 rpm (PTO standby speed). The PTO
standby speed is not to be used as a control speed.
B. With optional cruise control: RESUME/ACCEL
has a base engine idle of 1,700 rpm. SET/COAST
has a base engine idle of 1,400 rpm.
C. Without optional cruise control: PTO UP has a
base engine idle of 1,700 rpm. PTO DOWN has a
base engine idle of 1,400 rpm.
To engage a PTO while in stationary variable mode:
1. Make sure the vehicle is stopped.
2. Shift the transmission into NEUTRAL (N) or
PARK (P), if equipped.
3. The PTO Enable and cruise control (if equipped)
switch must be in ON.
4. Press the accelerator pedal to the desired rpm.
5. Engine speed is controlled by the turn
signal/multifunctional lever.
A. The SET position holds the rpm selected by the
accelerator pedal.
B. With the optional cruise control:
RESUME/ACCEL increases engine speed by
25 rpm. SET/COAST decreases engine speed
by 25 rpm.
C. Without the optional cruise control: PTO UP
increases engine speed by 25 rpm. PTO DOWN
decreases engine speed by 25 rpm.
