Audacity Software Introduction
**The provided
Audacity CD disc should contain the following software:
(1)Audacity-src-1.2.6--------- for Macintosh
(2)Lame_enc.dll--------------- (to convert recorded music files to MP3 format)
(3)AUTORUN
(4)Audacity Set Up
(5)Audacity. dmg--------------- for Macintosh
(6)LameLib-Carbon-3.91----- for Macintosh
The software is compatible with Window 98, 2000, ME, XP, VISTA and Macintosh.
NOTE: In the VISTA system, the default MONO 1 CH in the recording option should be changed to
STEREO 2 CH manually. Follow the steps below to adjust between MONO 1 CH and STEREO
2CH:
Control Panel
Volume REC Microphone (AK5371 Attribute Advanced Open the
advanced option and select 2 channels, 16 bit, 44100HZ (CD tone)
However, the WIN2000 or XP. should not require adjustment
