Ensure the trigger lock is engaged for safety when not spraying.
Set the prime knob to the PRIME position to relieve system pressure.
Remove the lid from the paint cup before filling or priming.
Ensure a clean pump filter is installed for proper sprayer operation.
Fill the cup with paint and securely reinstall the cup lid.
Disengage the trigger lock and ensure the prime valve knob is in the PRIME position.
Turn the spray tip to UNCLOG and install a fully charged battery.
Confirm the storage plug is open to prevent air locks during priming.
Purge air from the pump by pulling the trigger into a waste pail for 10 seconds.
Turn the prime valve knob forward to the SPRAY position.
Purge air and fluid from the hose and gun until a steady stream of paint appears.
Turn the spray tip forward to the SPRAY position for operation.
Set the flow control to the lowest setting (setting #1).
Test spray pattern on scrap cardboard and adjust speed, distance, hand speed, and orientation.
Reverse the spray tip and spray into a waste area to clear a clog.
Engage trigger lock and remove the battery from the sprayer.
Turn the prime knob up to PRIME position to relieve system pressure.
Turn the spray tip 90 degrees to seal the orifice from drying out.
Close the storage plug in the cup lid to seal the material in the cup.
Engage trigger lock, turn prime knob to PRIME, and prepare for refilling.
Remove the cup lid, which can hook onto the sprayer.
Remove and clean the pump filter and any debris from the filter screen.
Reinstall the pump filter in the bottom of the cup.
Refill the cup with paint and reinstall the cup lid.
Circulate cleaning fluid by filling the cup and running the sprayer.
Spray cleaning fluid through the sprayer until the cup is empty.
Clean the cup, lid, and pump filter in warm water.
Circulate storage fluid, engage lock, turn prime knob to PRIME, and remove battery.
