What to do if Graco Power Tool sprayer makes no sound?
    • K
      karen01Aug 10, 2025
If your Graco Power Tool sprayer makes no sound when the trigger is pulled, several issues could be the cause. The diagnostic light may blink, indicating incorrect voltage (replace the battery), the battery may be old (replace it), or the battery temperature may be too high or low (allow it to cool down or warm up). A locked rotor may also be the reason (replace the pump and/or motor assembly). If the diagnostic light doesn't blink, the battery might not be installed or is damaged (install or replace it). Also, consider replacing the Smartcontrol.

Why is my Graco Power Tool spray pattern uneven?
    • E
      Emily GoodwinAug 18, 2025
An uneven spray pattern from your Graco Power Tool can occur for several reasons. You might be moving too fast or slow while spraying (adjust your speed), the spray tip could be clogged (unclog or clean it), or the material may be difficult to atomize (increase the speed). Other causes include dirty or worn outlet valves (clean or replace them), speed control set too low (increase speed), or the material needing to be thinned (thin it according to the manufacturer's recommendations). Also, the material might not be compatible with the sprayer (switch material). Ensure you're holding the sprayer at the correct distance and consider switching to a different spray tip.

What to do if my Graco Power Tool sprayer sprays with poor results?
    • E
      Ellen GonzalezNov 24, 2025
If your Graco Power Tool sprayer is producing poor results, check the following: the flow control may be too low (increase the speed), the storage plug on the cup lid may be closed (open it), or the spray tip may be partially clogged (clean it) or not in the correct position (rotate it). Also, the spray tip could be wrong for the material (install a different size). Ensure the material isn't aerated (do not shake it), too cold (warm it), or incompatible with the sprayer (clean the system and try thinning the material or switch to a different material). Damaged gasket (replace gasket) or debris stuck in Spray Gun (remove Spray Tip/Spray Tip Guard. Turn Flow Control to 10 and spray fluid for 5-10 quick triggers to dislodge debris) may be the cause. Finally, inspect the hose wires for damage ...
