To use footrest, pull up as
shown .
To store footrest, push down on
footrest as shown .
6.5 To Use Footrest
To Adjust Recline on Base:
Press down on red recline adjustment buttons on
top of recline handle and slide child restraint
to desired position. Re-check level indicator to
make sure base is level.
Choose one of 8 recline positions .
When using only the child restraint without
the base, CHECK child restraint is level with the
ground. Red level line on the warning label (see
step on pg 27) MUST be level with the ground.
If the child restraint is resting on the vehicle seat
and is still not level then place a rolled towel under
the child restraint .
Re-adjust the vehicle seat belt as necessary to
secure the child restraint firmly in the vehicle seat.
