Water heater bypass valves
The water heater bypass uses two (2) valves, located on the
back side of the water heater.
Also see page 22, Water Heater Bypass Valves.
• When camping, use the Normal Use position.
TURN BOTH bypass valve handles towards
the water heater as shown:
• When Winterizing or Sanitizing the 6 Gallon Water Heater,
use the Bypass position. TURN BOTH bypass valve handles
towards the hot & cold water lines as shown:

Winterization Valve.
Preparing your RV for storage is very important in climates that
experience cold weather. Follow the steps listed below at the end
of the camping season:
• ALWAYS winterize the fresh water system of your RV
BEFORE exposure to temperatures at or below 32°F (0°C).
◦ Damage to the water supply lines or water heater
due to freezing is not covered under warranty.
• Winterize with RV Antifreeze ONLY, no other products
should ever be added to your fresh water system.
◦ Make sure to have enough RV antifreeze to winterize
all fresh water lines. Several gallons may be required.
