Perf Crash Pad
The cross perf crash pad is a consumable item and will require replacement. To
maintain the life of your perf blade, please check the perf anvil regularly and replace
the crash pad if worn.
Replacing the Crash
Pad
• Remove the crash pad anvil
tool from the PT 331S (if
installed)
• Peel up one edge of the
crash pad and pull along the
length of the tool.
• Clean any glue residue from
the anvil tool.
• Peel the protective backing
from the replacement crash pad.
• With the anvil clean,
carefully adhere the replacement
crash pad to the anvil.
• The anvil will need to be
exercised to achieve a clean
perforation. Run a 12x18 job with
at least 10 cross perfs
programmed. Run this job 20
times.
