The figure shows the rigid undercarriage ready to be screwed in place.
The retractable undercarriage
First separate the upper part of the undercarriage strut as shown in the following
figure.
Remove and flatten out any burrs from the separated strut for the M3x4 grub screw.
Push the strut into the retraction mechanism, and try out the undercarriage. If
everything fits, connect the strut to the M3 grub screw and screw into the
undercarriage.
