Why won't my Gravely Lawn Mower engine start?

  Several factors can prevent your Gravely Lawn Mower engine from starting. The safety interlock system might not be engaged or could be faulty. The fuel tank could be empty, or the fuel supply might be contaminated. A discharged battery, poor connection between the battery and cables, loose spark plug wires, or faulty spark plugs could also be the cause. In the first instance, check the Safety Interlock System, fill the fuel tank or replace with clean fuel, charge the battery, or tighten/clean the battery and battery cables.

For very tall grass, mow twice.
