LEVELING AND ADJUSTING
PITCH OF MOWER DECK
Pitch is the difference in blade height from
front to back or from side to side.
Adjust on a level surface with the tires inflated
to the correct air pressure. See Specifications
on page 36.
Three measurements are required to level
and adjust the pitch of the mower deck:
1. The distance from the mower blades to
the ground.
2. The forward pitch of the mower blades.
3. The side-to-side pitch of the mower
blades.
The Distance From The Mower
Blades To The Ground
(Figure 11)
• In the lowest cutting position should be
3.2 cm ± 0.6 cm (1 1/2" ± 1/4").
• In the highest cutting position should
be 10.8 cm ± 0.6 cm (4 1/2" ± 1/4").
