(4) Variable-frequency fan drive board IPM over-temperature fault (outdoor fault H8)
(5) High voltage protection for the DC bus of the variable-frequency fan's drive board (ODU fault HH)
Check if the voltage of the
whole system's input power
cable exceeds 460V
Lower the voltage to
380 V.
The fan's drive board is
faulty and needs to be
replaced.
Check if the fault occurs
after the system is
power on.
Check if the IPM module is
screwed properly and thermal gel
is applied on the surface.
Replace the fan's drive
board.
Screw the IPM module
properly and apply thermal
gel on its surface.
