Why is my Gree GMV-ND not cooling properly?
    • J
      Joseph WhiteAug 11, 2025
If your Gree Air Conditioner isn't cooling well, several factors could be the cause. Start by checking the air filter; a dirty or blocked filter can significantly reduce cooling performance, so clean or replace it. Make sure that doors and windows are closed. Also, ensure that the inlet and outlet of the IDU (Indoor Unit) are free from obstructions. If the cooling issue persists, the setting temperature may be too high, or there could be a refrigerant leak, so adjust the temperature and check for leaks. Finally, a failing room temperature sensor can also cause poor cooling; consider replacing or repairing it. Reducing the heat load in the room can also help.

      Victoria VasquezAug 16, 2025
If your Gree Air Conditioner won't start, begin by verifying that the power supply is properly connected. Then, inspect the circuit breaker to ensure it hasn't tripped due to a leakage of electricity. Check that the input voltage is correct and that the operation button is on. Finally, examine the control loop.

      Carrie BurnsAug 22, 2025
If your Gree Air Conditioner isn't heating effectively, start by checking the air filter and clean or replace it if it's dirty or blocked. Ensure all doors and windows are closed to prevent heat loss. Verify that the setting temperature isn't too low, and increase it if necessary. Refrigerant leakage can also cause poor heating, so check for leaks and repair them. If the outdoor ambient temperature is lower than -5°C, the unit's performance may be affected; ensure operation within a suitable temperature range. Lastly, investigate the control circuit for any abnormalities.

If your Gree Air Conditioner stops after running for a while, there could be a few reasons. First, check if the inlet or outlet of either the ODU (Outdoor Unit) or IDU (Indoor Unit) are blocked by any obstacles and remove them. Also, check the control loop. When the outdoor ambient temperature is higher than 43°C, set the unit in cooling mode.

      Julia DunnSep 4, 2025
If the indoor fan of your Gree Air Conditioner doesn’t start during heating, check the positioning of the tube temperature sensor head and adjust it if necessary. Ensure the tube temperature sensor head is properly inserted. Inspect the wiring of the tube temperature sensor head for any breaks and repair them if needed. Also, check if the capacitor is leaking electricity and replace it if it is.
