Warnings
1. W hen in stalling o r relocating the unit, be su re to keep th e refrige rant c irc u it free fro m air o r sub sta nces oth e r tha n the
specified refrigerant.
A n y presence o f air o r o th er fore ig n sub stance in the refrigera nt c irc u it w ill cause system pressure rise o r co m pres so r ru p
ture , re sulting in injury.
2.W hen in sta llin g o r m oving th is unit, do not charge th e refrigerant w hich is not co m p ly w ith th a t on the nam eplate or
unqua lifie d refrigerant.
O therw ise, it may cause abnorm al op eration , w rong action ,m ech anical m alfu nc tion o r even series safety accident.
3.W hen re frig eran t needs to be recovered d u rin g relocatin g o r repairing the unit, be sure th a t the un it is runn in g in coo ling
mode. Then, fu lly c lo se the valve at high pre ssure side (liq uid va lve ).A b out 30-40 secon ds later, fu lly close the
valve at low pressure side (gas valve), im m ediately sto p th e u n it and d isco n ne ct power. Please note th a t th e tim e fo r
refrig eran t recovery sh o u ld not exceed 1 m inu te.If refrige rant recovery takes to o m uch tim e, a ir may be sucked in
and cause p ressure rise o r co m p re sso r rupture, resulting in injury.
4.D uring re frig eran t recovery, make sure th a t liq uid valve and gas valve are fu lly closed and pow er is d isco nne cted before
detaching th e conn ec tion pipe. If com p re ss or starts run nin g when sto p valve is open and conn ec tion pipe is no t ye t co n
nected, a ir w ill be sucked in and cause pressure rise o r c om p re ss or ruptu re, re s ulting in injury.
5.W hen in sta llin g the unit, m ake sure th a t co n ne ctio n pipe is securely connected before th e co m p re sso r sta rts running.
If co m p re ss or sta rts ru nning w hen s to p valve is open and conn e c tion pipe is not yet connected, a ir w ill be sucked in and
cause pressure rise o r com p re ss or rupture, re sulting in injury.
6.P ro hibit in sta llin g the un it at th e place w here the re m ay be leaked c o rro s ive gas o r fla m m able gas.
If there leaked gas around th e u nit, it may cause explos io n and o th e r accidents.
7.Do not use extension co rds fo r electrical con ne ctio ns. If the e le ctric w ire is not long enough, please co n tac t a local
se rvice cen te r authorized and ask fo r a prope r e lec tric w ire. Poor co n ne ction s m ay lead to e le ctric sh o ck o r fire.
8.Use the spe cified type s o f w ire s fo r electrical co nn e ctio ns between the ind o o r and o u td o o r units. F irm ly cla m p the
w ires so th a t th e ir term ina ls receive no external stresses.
E lectric w ires w ith in s u fficie nt capacity, w ro ng w ire con n e ctio ns and insecure w ire term ina ls may cause e lectric sh o ck o r
fire.
