What to do if the cutting line does not advance on my GreenWorks Trimmer?

  If the cutting line on your GreenWorks Trimmer isn't advancing, it could be due to a couple of reasons. First, the line might be tangled on the spool. To fix this, remove the battery, then remove the spool cover and the spool itself. Unwind the spool, make sure the line isn't tangled, and rewind it. Alternatively, the line may have run out, in that case follow the steps for a tangled line and replace the spool or spool line.

  If your GreenWorks Trimmer motor isn't starting when you press the switch, there are a couple of things to check. First, make sure the battery is securely in place; the latches on top of the battery pack should snap into place. Also, the battery may not be charged. Charge the battery pack according to the instructions included with your model.
