  If the line on your GreenWorks Trimmer isn't advancing, it could be due to several reasons. The lines might be welded together; try lubricating them with silicone spray. There might not be enough line on the spool, so install more line. The lines could be worn too short, in which case you should advance the cutting line. Alternatively, the lines might be tangled on the spool; remove them and rewind them properly.

  Your GreenWorks Trimmer might not start due to a few reasons: there may be no electrical contact between the machine and the battery pack. To solve this, remove the battery pack, check the contact, and reinstall it. Alternatively, the battery pack could be depleted, so try charging it. Also, ensure you're pulling the lock-out button and the trigger simultaneously to start the machine.
