6.2 Mount / remove heavy load lattice extension

Risk of accidents due to falling heavy load lattice extension.
During installation and removal, always use the proper materials with suf-
ficient load bearing capacite;

6.2.1 Installing the heavy load lattice extension
On the left side of the main boom head there is a holding device.
When installing, the heavy load lattice extension is connected at the front
bore holes (1) of the holding device.
• Release the retaining pin and remove the
pin (1) from the bearing point on the (2)
heavy load lattice extension.
• Use an auxiliary crane to couple the heavy
load lattice extension to the connection
eyes (3) and lift it to the left onto the main
boom head.
• Align the heavy load lattice extension so
that the bearing point (2) lines up to the
front bore holes in the holding device.
• Secure the heavy load lattice extension to
the holding device using a pin (1).
• Secure the pin with a retaining pin.
• Depending on the application, bring the heavy load lattice extension
into transport position or working position;
