COMMISSIONING GUIDE
Do not attempt to start the pump(s) even to check the direction of rotation
until the system has been filled with water and both the pump and the
system have been primed/vented.
Arrangements should be ma de for an engineer to commission the pressurisation unit.

FILLING
The system should be initia lly filled via a filling loop. Turn on the water supply and
ensure the tank fills properly and stops. Ensure th ere a re no leaks. DO NOT ALLOW
the ta n k t o e mp t y, a n d t h e p um p s to run d ry, a s t h is co u ld in va lid a te t h e p um p
warranty. This is especially imp ortant after initial inst allation and during the fill cycle.
OPERATION
Do not attempt to supply electricity to the control panel and run the pump
electric motors without ensuring that all electrical fittings, cables and
enclosures are intact and suitably electrically isolated from human touch
during operation.
Pump electric motors will have hot external surfaces during operation and
ca re mu st b e ta ke n t o e n su re t h at pe ople can n o t com e int o co n ta ct wit h
the surfaces of the electric motors.
When all electrical covers are in place, and the pumps have been vented, and the
ca b in et co ve rs re p la ced , t he n t h e e le ct rica l su p p ly to the unit can be switched on .
The pressurisation unit will s tart two seconds after electrical supply has been
applied.
