5.3.3 Removing a foreign body in the tank
If there is a foreign body in the tank, follow the steps
below to remove it.
1. If the water level in the tank is above the motor
flange, disconnect the power supply and drain the
tank by means of the drain hose.
2. Unscrew the cover.
3. Remove the four screws of the motor flange.
4. Lift the motor flange to reduce the compression of
the O-ring. Insert a screwdriver into the notch
underneath the power cable and press it down.

handles.
Lift the unit vertically before tilting it.

of the float switch and the tank. Check that the
float switch works properly before fitting the cover.

the pressure switch works properly (press
diaphragm carefully) before fitting the cover.
5.3.4 Checking and cleaning the pressure switch
If the pressure switch is stuck, follow the steps below
to check and clean the pressure switch.
The pressure switch unit can be removed separately.

tank by means of the drain hose.
2. Unscrew the cover.
3. Turn the bayonet coupling 10° clockwise.
4. Pull out the complete pressure switch.
5. Check and clean the diaphragm of the pressure
switch.
6. Check that the pressure switch works properly
(press diaphragm carefully) before fitting the
cover.
7. Lubricate the O-ring seat of the pressure switch in
the motor flange for easier fitting.

Carbon filter
Replace the carbon filter once a year to ensure
sufficient filter function.
Instead of using a carbon filter,
SOLOLIFT2 can also be vented through a
venting pipe. In this case, a venting valve
is needed. Product number: 98059587.
