PWM feedback signal - flow estimation (on request)
On request, there is an option where the PWM
feedback signal can also be used to indicate the flow
of the pump on defined pump housings (e.g. cast iron
inline) above a head of 1 m. The accuracy of the
feedback signal is depending on the media, media
temperature and operation point, but it gives an
indication on the actual flow.
Example: The PWM output range between 0-70 %
shows the flow between 0 and 4 m
3
/h with a slope of
0.057 m
3
/h / % PWM.

Data
LIN bus (on request)
On request, there is an option of Medium UPM pumps
with LIN bus communication. This data bus has been
developed as a Local Interconnect Network (LIN) in
the automotive sector and is used in vehicles.
"VDMA Einheitsblatt 24226" defines the specification
of an appliance-integrated fieldbus system based on
the LIN bus. With the LIN bus, serial data can be
transmitted for control, monitoring and analysis.
Data transmitted from the LIN bus can be defined by
Grundfos.
