Fall Clearance

Maintenance, Cleaning, and Storage

Installation and Use

PFAS Component Compatibility

Ensure all PFAS components are selected and compatible with the Halo Web SRL by a Competent Person.

Work Area Preparation

Ensure structure & work area are free of hazards like debris, rot, rust, sharp edges, or hazardous materials.

SRL Positioning

Position SRL housing at or above dorsal D-ring and at or below anchor point. Specifics for rebar hook included.

Connecting the SRL

Attach SRL housing to anchor point or D-ring using the provided carabiner or equivalent.

Maintaining 100% Tie-Off

Ensure 100% tie-off is maintained at all times, possibly requiring a backup system.

Safety Information

General Safety Warnings

Failure to comply with regulations may cause serious injury or death. Do not alter or misuse equipment.

Workplace Hazard Assessment

CP must assess workplace conditions, routes, and potential fall hazards before selecting equipment.

System Selection and Installation

Select and install fall protection systems under CP supervision, compliant with regulations.

Connector Compatibility

Harnesses and connectors must be compatible, self-locking, and self-closing. Avoid connecting them to each other.

Rescue and Training

A project-specific rescue plan is required. CP must train authorized persons on equipment use and hazard recognition.

User Limitations

Health, age, and fitness affect fall safety. Pregnant women and minors must not use this equipment.

Product Identification Label

Label displays Class 1, warnings, product name, standards, and QR code for more information.

Product Information Label

Label includes Part #, Serial #, Date of Manufacture, warnings, usage instructions, specifications, and inspection details.

Inspection

Pre-Use Inspection

Inspect SRL for deficiencies like corrosion, damage, or illegible labels. Remove from service if defects are found.

Work Area Inspection

Ensure work area is free of damage and hazardous materials and can support minimum loads.

Competent Person Inspection

CP must inspect SRL at least every 12 months. Record inspections in log and on inspection grid label.

Product Lifetime

Product lifetime is indefinite if it passes pre-use and CP inspections. Discard immediately if it fails inspection.
