Steering system Hallberg-Rassy 310
The bronze fitting that is bolted to the rudder shaft is holding the rudder in place.
Before you remove the bronze fitting the boat has to be lifted out of the water. The rudder has to be
secured with supports in order to prevent it from falling out.
Make sure that the horizontal bolt to the right in the picture below is well tightened. It is a clamping
bolt so sufficient tension is essential for proper function
