What to do if my HAMPTON BAY ZANDRA 92380 will not start?
    • K
      Kevin JacksonAug 13, 2025
If your HAMPTON BAY fan won't start, begin by checking the main and branch circuit fuses or breakers. Ensure the wall switch (if applicable) is in the 'on' position. Inspect the line wire connections to the fan and switch wire connections in the switch housing. Check the battery in the transmitter and make sure you're within the normal operating range of 10-20 feet. Before checking the dip switch settings, remember to turn off the power supply.

Why does my HAMPTON BAY ZANDRA 92380 move backwards and forwards when turned on?
    • B
      brittanyandersonAug 17, 2025
The backward and forward movement of your HAMPTON BAY fan upon start-up is normal for DC motor fans. This partial movement is due to the DC motor aligning its internal magnetic poles for proper operation. This design saves electricity and allows the fan to operate much more quietly than standard AC motor fans.
  • K
    Kiara TurnerAug 21, 2025
Why is my HAMPTON BAY ZANDRA 92380 so noisy?
    • L
      Linda ThomasAug 21, 2025
Several factors can contribute to a noisy HAMPTON BAY fan. Ensure all motor housing screws are snug and the screws attaching the fan blade bracket to the motor hub are tight. Check that wire nut connections are not rattling against each other or the interior wall of the switch housing. If you're using a light kit, make sure the screws securing the glassware are tight and the light bulbs are secure. Ensure the canopy is a short distance from the ceiling and your outlet box is secure, with rubber isolator pads used between the mounting plate and outlet box. Also, allow a 24-hour 'breaking in' period.
  • L
    Lisa DuranAug 25, 2025
Why is my HAMPTON BAY ZANDRA 92380 wobbling?
    • T
      todd34Aug 25, 2025
Fan wobble is often due to unequal blade levels. Start by checking that all blade and blade arm screws are secure. To check blade levels, select a point on the ceiling above the tip of one blade and measure the distance from that point to the center of each blade as you rotate the fan. Any deviation should be within 1/8 inch. Run the fan for ten minutes. If the fan continues to wobble please contact customer service and a balancing kit will be sent to you at no charge.
  • B
    bbrownAug 28, 2025
Why is my HAMPTON BAY device offline for long periods of time?
    • V
      Valerie ColemanAug 28, 2025
If your HAMPTON BAY device is frequently offline, ensure your Wi-Fi signal strength is sufficient. Consider moving your router, using mesh Wi-Fi, or Wi-Fi extenders to improve connectivity.

What to do if my HAMPTON BAY device cannot find any Wi-Fi networks?
    • D
      Devon AvilaSep 1, 2025
