jects in the oven! If the appliance
is switched on unintentionally they
may deform or ignite.
■ Do not use the oven for storage
purposes.
■ If you are preparing foods in oil, fat
or using alcohol, do not leave the
cooker unattended! Food may ig-
nite of its own.
■ In case of an oven fi re:
Do not open the door!
■ In case of cookware fi re:
Put the lid on immediately!
■ Never extinguish burning oil or fat
with water!
■ If a fi re starts, immediately turn off
all of the dials and switch off the cir-
cuit breakers or unscrew the fuses.
To extinguish the fi re, use a suita-
ble fi re extinguisher with the desig-
nation ‘F’ or a fi re blanket.
Make sure to have the appliance
checked by our Service team after
extinguishing a fi re(see „Our ser-
vice“ on page GB-36).
■ If the external cooling fan is broken,
the appliance can quickly overheat,
which can cause heavy damage to
the appliance and set fi re to any
other nearby fl ammable objects. In
such an event, immediately switch
off the appliance, open the oven
door and stop using the cooker!
■ Only protective hob grilles or hob
covers made by the hob manu-
facturer, approved protective hob
grilles or covers which are listed in
the user manual, or pre-installed
protective hob grilles or hob covers
may be used. The use of unsuitable
protective hob grilles or hob covers
may lead to accidents.
■ Before starting the timer, please
make sure to inform all members of
the household so that they do not
put anything in the oven.
■ Never leave anything to grill unat-
tended when using the timer!
■ Monitor the oven while using the
timer in order to prevent spills and
burning. Please note that fats, oils
and alcohol can catch on fi re when
heated.
Risk of burns!
During its use, the device and its ex-
posed parts can become hot.
■ Caution should be exercised not to
touch the heating elements, walls,
baking trays, etc.
■ Children aged 8 years or younger
must be kept away from the device,
unless they are under constant su-
pervision.
■ Hot steam can fl ow from the ex-
traction hood (ventilation) when the
oven is in use. Exercise caution
when opening the hot oven!
■ Never pour water directly into the
hot oven. The steam can cause
scalding and damage the enamel.
■ Allow hot water from the oven to
cool before pouring it out.
■ Never leave the oven unattended
while grilling. Keep children away!
■ The cooking zones heat up during
operation and remain hot after they
are switched off; this is indicated by
the residual heat indicator (23).
