Starting A Fire Automatically
1. Turn Mode Selector to “OFF”.
Thisresetsthecontrolinadditiontoturningitoff.
Operation
2. Clean Burnpot with scraper.
This is typically aweekly maintenance procedure, but,
dependingonthefuelbeingburned,mayneeddonemore
frequently.Cleaningtheburnpotwiththescraperwithasmall
amountof new fuelinthe bottom isnota problem.First,
scrapetheashesfromthefrontoftheburnpotintotheash
pan.Thenscrapetheholegridsurfacedownwardintothe
burnpot.Whenthestoveisignitedthesescrapingswillbe
pushedoutbythefeeder.
CAUTION: Wear Heat-Resistant Gloves To Perform The
Scraping Procedure.
3.Fill Hopper with pellets.
Beforerellingthehopper,checkforexcessivenesinthe
bottomofthehopper.Finesaresmallpiecesofbrokenpellets
(sawdust).Finesdonotoweasilyandoftenbuilduponthe
hopperfunnelbottomangles.Thesenescanbepushedinto
thefeederopeningandthenllthehopperwithpellets.As
thesystemworks,theywillbeburned.
Accesstheburnpotthroughthereboxdoor.Scrapingcanbe
donewhiletheunitisinoperation.*seecaution
