REMOVING CHILD FROM CHILD RESTRAINT
! ENSURE straps are at and snug
against child’s shoulders and thighs.
You should NOT be able to slide
more than one nger between the
strap and the child’s shoulder ❼.
A snug strap should not allow any
slack. It lies in a relavely straight
line without sagging. It should not
press the child’s esh or cause your
child’s body to be in an unnatural
posion.
! Any straps holding the restraint
to the vehicle should be ght, any
straps restraining the child should
be adjusted to the child’s body, and
all straps should not be twisted.
