Pointing Graph Slide Rules
•Move the slide so the vertical line is over the satellite position (100 west) at the
top of the graph.
• Locate your position on the earth.
• Concentric circle lines determine antenna elevation. This ranges from 0 to 90
degrees.
• Radial lines are used to determine the azimuth to point the antenna. This is a
Grid azimuth and must be converted to a magnetic azimuth.
