Network Configuration
The TRANSEC position can be selected also. Choices are TSK01 – TSK25.
TRANSEC is generated by the CPS and not loaded from a fill device. An
example would be to generate multiple TRANSEC keys in the CPA and change
the TSK every month. Time of Day must be within a 5 minute window for the
radios to communicate. TRANSEC is based on time. TRANSEC OFFSET
adjusts the TRANSEC key. All radios must be set to the same OFFSET and
cannot be reset back to 0000. The programming must be reset and the Mission
Plan reloaded to correct a TRANSEC OFFSET issue.
NETWORK CONFIG is used to change the MAX RADIOS in the network. 1 to
10 are the choices. The fewer radios in a net, the higher the data rate for each
radio is. If not all the radios are actively in the net, the MAX RADIOS can be
changed. All radios must be set identically and to the correct number. If there
are 6 radios in the net and all radios are set to 5, the net will not work.
If MAX RADIOS is set to 1, the network can be configured for multicast
operation. The Waveform can then be selected. (WF1 to WF7)
