Fascinator Encryption
• Fascinator supports voice encryption in FM from 90 to
511.99999 MHz.
• Similar to VINSON Encryption but at 12 kbps. (FED-STD 1023)
• The Radio can store 25 Traffic Encryption Keys (TEK) in VULOS
only.
• Does not
support OTAR operations!
HAIPE Encryption
• The AN/PRC-117G uses HAIPE (High Assurance Internet
Protocol Encryptor) compatible Type-1 IP security for ANW2
operations.
• MEDLEY or BATON encryption is used depending on
configuration. BATON is for use with legacy HAIPE systems.
• There are 120 storage positions for HAIPE MEDLEY or BATON
data encryption keys.
• There are 25 storage positions for ANW2 MEDLEY voice keys.
