Mode: Used to set the operating mode your wireless
print server. You can choose between two available
modes: “Ad Hoc” or “Infrastructure.” If you do not
have a wireless access point and want to use peer-to-
peer connection, you should choose to run the print
server in “Ad Hoc” mode. If you have a wireless
access point or router on your network, you should
choose to run the HWPS12UG in “Infrastructure”
mode.
ESSID is the unique name identified by an available
wireless LAN. The ESSID prevents your print server
from joining the wrong wireless network. Please
make sure to use the correct ESSID of all stations
and access points in the WLAN network that you
wish to connect to.
Channel Number is the wireless channel that your
wireless LAN is using. Please make sure that the
channel number of all stations and access points are
the same as your selected WLAN.
